Colleges of education in Nigeria's North East geopolitical zone frequently encounter scheduling conflicts arising from manual allocation of classrooms, laboratories, and audio-visual resources, leading to underutilisation of facilities and timetable overlaps. This study presents the development of a classroom scheduling and resource booking system for the Federal College of Education, Yola, Adamawa State. The research was prompted by an institutional audit documenting 27 scheduling conflicts in a single semester, resulting in cancelled classes and disrupted student learning. The system was developed using a PHP-based web application with an integrated constraint-based scheduling module, allowing academic departments to submit resource requests and receive automated approval or conflict notifications within minutes. A resource availability calendar displaying real-time booking status was integrated into the interface to reduce redundant reservation attempts. After a one-semester trial period involving four academic departments, scheduling conflicts decreased from 27 to three per semester, and facilities utilisation efficiency improved from 58 to 79 percent based on booked versus available hours. The study highlights the transferability of the system design to other federal colleges of education and recommends pilot extension to the College's Teaching Practice coordination unit.
