Adamawa State in North East Nigeria faces compounding hazard risks including flooding, landslides, drought, and conflict-related displacement, necessitating an integrated spatial risk assessment framework. This study develops a multi-hazard risk assessment for Adamawa State using remote sensing and GIS, integrating hazard, exposure, and vulnerability components for flood, drought, and landslide hazards. Flood hazard maps are generated using SRTM-based hydrological modelling. Drought hazard is characterised from MODIS Vegetation Health Index time series. Landslide susceptibility is modelled using logistic regression with terrain, geology, and vegetation covariates. Exposure layers include population density maps and agricultural land value estimates. Vulnerability indicators from the National Population Commission survey data are spatially aggregated. Composite multi-hazard risk scores are computed and mapped at the LGA level. Results classify the Fufore, Ganye, and Gombi LGAs as highest multi-hazard risk. The study provides an operational risk atlas for the Adamawa State Emergency Management Agency.
